Sounds amazing – there would even be an opportunity for indoor vendors or events in conjunction at the Library and the Cultural Centre – making it a larger, more expansive event! Indoor and outdoor vendors…crafts, hot chocolate, music etc… Also would provide a contingency/shelter in case of inclement weather!

I think this is a fabulous idea. Maybe it could start with the Santa Claus parade and run into December.
HI Bev, the reason for it being a one night event this year is because of the short timeframe… The plan is for it to grow into a weekly event overtime. Starting with the Parade is a great idea!!

Sounds like a great idea. Hopefully Council will adopt this motion and also retain name Christmas Market. It’s sure to be a popular event.
