Aurora Trails

Aurora, I believe, has one of the best trails systems in York Region….Aurora’s trail system are approximately 57 kilometers in length, and are designed to accommodate joggers, hikers, cyclists, and skiers. The Town is continuously working towards connecting our trails to the Regional trail system as well as looking to include the trails in the work of the Cycling Master Plan… It’s autumn, and the colours are just stunning – This long weekend is a great time to get out and enjoy our wonderful trails with the family! Here is the map with all our parks and trails listed for your enjoyment!! #AuroraProud

  1. Hi There!
It’s just come to my attention that there is a trail planned to go through Jack Woods Park.
This park us a narrow swath in which many back yards back onto and have no fencing.
Although, there is an opportunity to widen an area to accommodate a path at one exceptionally narrow area, that would mean destroying a natural area.
Many species of wildlife have made this area their home and I cannot fathom introducing increased human traffic through the natural areas planned, to be a particularly good thing.
