This afternoon, the N6 Mayors met with Circular Materials to discuss the roll-out of the Blue Bin program in our communities. Unfortunately, the response from Circular Materials was not satisfactory when it came to questions about providing bin-size options beyond the 95-gallon carts delivered earlier this month.
We made it clear that bin-size options are not an ask — they are a requirement. Our residents deserve flexibility, and one size does not fit all.
Circular Materials has committed to speak with their collection contractor and return to the N6 Mayors on Friday, Nov 14 with possible solutions.
