COUNCIL UPDATE – March 8, 2016

This week’s Council agenda had a number of items of importance; however, I will focus on the one that was of greatest importance to residents and that is that of disposition of the Mavrinac lands (Block 208)

Council had before it a recommendation to explore options for what to do with this piece of land. The Consultants hired to review the matter recommended that the Town sell this land and use the cash to purchase land for parks in a more “underserviced” area.
