Council voted to add a minimum of 55% healthy food options at the concessions in Town facilities.. Not only will there be more options for healthy food… But as a result of this vote, Council has also mandated that single use water bottles will no longer be sold in any vending machines in Town owned facilities. As there are now Refill stations in ALL facilities the time is now to end the use of plastic water bottles in Aurora facilities. Eliminating single use plastic water bottles and the extraordinary plastic waste they generate, will have a major impact on our environment…
