I am a long time resident of Aurora (1985). I am writing to express my support for Tom Mrakas in his bid for reelection as Mayor. I am involved in a local sports organization and I first met Tom on his first bid for election as Mayor. He promised to meet with local sports organizations twice per year to listen to our concerns and problems that we all have. He has kept this promise throughout his tenor as Mayor. He is willing to come out to any Special Events that a local sports organization may have. What sets Tom Mrakas apart is his commitment to the Town of Aurora. From my perspective he seems to be there 24/7. Our Town has benefited from Tom’s steady leadership. Tom’s willingness to continue being Mayor shows me he has more work to complete. I encourage Aurora to vote for Tom Mrakas as Mayor in the upcoming election, October 26, 2026.
