I got to know Mayor Tom after he had been in office for a year or so. Over the many years of Tom being our Mayor, our paths have crossed many, many times on a number of issues and town events. I have always found Mayor Tom to be approachable and friendly, always with a smile on his face showing his pride of our town. Tom has always listened to me when I raise a point, offered his feedback in an open and transparent way. I have alway been impressed with his dedication to our community. His commitment to supporting local businesses, helping to introduce new businesses to the community or his celebration of business’s that have reached a milestone has set him apart from any other mayor that I have ever known.
Mayor Tom provides calm leadership, is community driven and strives to continue to put Aurora on a larger stage. Most evenings and weekends you will see him at events and businesses, frequently visiting several on a weekend.
Aurora needs strong leadership and someone who deeply cares about our town. Aurora needs Mayor Tom.
