Eight years ago, I made a commitment to work with Council, residents, and businesses to get things done. Together, we’ve delivered real results for Aurora.

We’ve achieved the lowest tax rate in York Region’s N6 municipalities over the past four-year term, while maintaining the 8th lowest tax rate in the entire GTHA for eight consecutive years. We’ve maintained healthy financial reserves to protect our future, secured 28+ acres of parkland, opened Aurora Town Square as a vibrant community gathering place, invested in new recreation facilities, sports fields and parks, approved more than 1,100 purpose-built rental homes, supported the creation of 400 new businesses and over 3,000 jobs, and ensured growth continues to happen responsibly and in line with our Official Plan.

Throughout it all, I’ve worked hard to be accessible, responsive, and accountable. I believe in putting people before politics and always putting Aurora first. Every decision I’ve made has been guided by what’s best for our community today while protecting Aurora’s future for generations to come.

While I’m proud of what we’ve accomplished together, there’s still more work to do. Together, we can continue building a stronger, safer, and more prosperous Aurora.
