Meeting with MPP Cheri DiNovo

Yesterday, I had the opportunity to meet with MPP Cheri DiNovo and discuss the OMB. MPP DiNovo will be introducing a private members bill in regards to the OMB and wanted to speak with me in regards to all the work that Aurora has undertaken in collaboration with Municipalities across the province to address the need for reform. We had a great discussion about OMB reform and in particular the needed changes in scope of powers of the OMB and authority of municipalities to uphold their Official Plans.
