MEETING WITH MPP PATRICK BROWN

I just finished meeting with Patrick Brown MPP, Simcoe North and Leader of the Official Opposition, in regards to OMB Reform. We had a great discussion on the changes that are needed that will ensure municipalities have the requisite authority to uphold their Official Plans and thus afford them the ability to ensure communities can retain what makes them unique.

I have now met with representatives from all parties and I am encouraged after hearing their perspectives on the OMB that we are on the way to true and bold reform. The key to effective and meaningful change of the OMB is collaboration; working together with all parties to get this done. #OMBreform
