New Crossing Guard

Beginning Tuesday February 17, the Town will be placing a school crossing guard on Conover Avenue in front of Dr. G.W. Williams Secondary School to support safer crossings for students and pedestrians.

Engineering will also be conducting traffic data collection and a formal warrant analysis to assess the need for a potential stop sign or other traffic calming measures, while this location is reviewed as part of the Town-wide Pedestrian Facility Plan.

Student safety is always our top priority, and we will continue taking the necessary steps to ensure safe routes to school for everyone.
