With yesterday‘s $28.5 Billion transit plan announcement the Provincial Government has recognized the importance of York Region – and all of our municipalities – to Ontario’s economy. I am excited that we will be moving forward with the Yonge Subway Extension! This Government’s commitment to fund and build this vital extension is an important step towards addressing congestion in the GTHA. And the Yonge Subway Extension will not only help get people moving but will help spur economic growth across York Region.
