Thank you again for supporting our community from Toronto centric legislation that does not in any way respect a small community such as Aurora. That citizens may not be able to have virtually any say in future development in their own neighbourhoods is appalling. It blatantly strips away security for anyone who has invested in this community.
While I heartily endorse and support growing our community to embrace housing for more people, I cannot comprehend how a province wide law will enhance the building of any community when the existing standards are entirely ignored.
We moved here over 30 years ago because we recognized that Aurora was and still is a unique community to raise our family, but I fear the future may make our town less so if this legislation has the teeth to object to citizens real concerns.
