For the past three days, I’ve been in Washington D.C. alongside fellow mayors from both Canada and the United States, part of the Great Lakes
I have been working for Aurora from my very first day as a Councillor. I rolled up my sleeves and got to work with fellow Council members, residents, businesses and all levels of government. I’m proud of what we have accomplished together – a track record of successful collaboration, consensus building and decisions that serve all members of our community – proving that by working together we can push past the politics and get things done.
It has been my honour to serve on Aurora Council for the past eight years and I’m excited for the opportunity to continue to serve you as your Mayor.
