Meeting With Premier Doug Ford

Today I met with Premier Doug Ford and Deputy Premier Christine Elliott … It was a very lively discussion as we discussed some of the pressing issues facing Aurora – from funding for infrastructure, to protecting our environment and of course the need for Municipalities to have the authority to make planning decisions that are best suited for their own Town/City… based on our discussion, I am very encouraged that we can work together to get things done for our community, the Region and the Province. I think we all agree that all levels of government working together, is the best way to ensure that we can provide the services our residents need in as cost effective a manner as possible; making sure there’s value for the taxpayer’s dollar.

I will continue to work with the Provincial Government to address Aurora’s needs – current and future –  and get things done for our community.
