Last night was the second Public Planning meeting that dealt with the Aurora United Church rebuild. While there was no final decision made (that will come later as per the Public Planning process) Council did unanimously support moving the application to the next step which is to a General Committee meeting. As we move forward to the next decision-making stage, the process will allow the residents and the applicant to continue to work together before presenting the final version of the application. The final report and recommendations from staff will be in front of Council in late June/early July at which point Council will make the final decision on the rebuild.
