Clare Cianfarani – Resident

I am writing in enthusiastic support of Tom Mrakas for Mayor of Aurora.

My family has lived in Aurora for 35 years. After finishing my education in Windsor and spending some time living in Toronto, I made the decision to come back home. I love this town and everything it offers.

Tom shows a strong sense of community and demonstrates a high regard for his fellow neighbours. His accomplishments so far only scratch the surface of his ability and character. He is one of the rare people who works very hard and diligently, but does so with a smile on his face.  In short, he cares. He always makes himself available to listen to any concerns those of us may have and will drop everything to see what he can do to improve a problematic situation. He is constantly engaged in the public and you can easily establish a dialogue with him online, as well as at many of the town’s special events and celebrations.

In short, Tom’s strong work ethic, sense of compassion and political expertise make him an ideal candidate for the job. I warmly recommend him for Mayor and will be voting for him on October 22.”
