“Fare Capping”

Beginning 2024, Instead of using monthly passes, York Regional Council has approved “fare capping.” This new system aims to make things fairer for everyone and make using public transportation easier. With fare capping, you won’t have to pay for a whole month upfront; instead, the system will automatically stop charging you once you reach a certain amount, which is like getting a monthly pass without having to buy one in advance.
